Grading Scale for 60 Questions

Percent and letter grade for every score on a 60-question test.

On a 60-question test, each question is worth about 1.67 points. This chart uses a standard plus/minus scale (A- at 90%, B- at 80%, C- at 70% and D- at 60%), so "an A" here means A- or better. Students need 54 right for an A, 48 for a B, 42 for a C and 36 for a D. They can miss 6 questions and still get an A, or 12 and still get a B.

  • A54+ rightA- or better
  • B48+ rightB- or better
  • C42+ rightC- or better
  • D36+ rightD- or better

  • The lowest score that isn't an F is 36 right (60%), a D-.
